 Future Events for 2011

This is our events page which will have all the details of Borstal Open Spaces future events some will be confirmed and some will be TBC, so please keep an eye on this page as it will display all the up to date information about all our activities. 

Our events are open to anyone who would like to get involved, all volunteers are very welcome to come and join us and any help is most gratefully received. 

We also welcome feedback about the events that we organise and also suggestion for future events

Bird Watching - Baty's Marsh 

The countryside team at Medway council are running 4 bird watching events this year, and this is the first of them. 

 

A drop in event to discover some of the birds using the riverside habitat. These are FREE events and there is no need to book in advance. 

Brig binoculars if you have them , and a telescope will be available to use at the events. 

 

Meeting Place : Esplanade end of the Centenary footpath/ Baty's Marsh 
Time :  12 noon to 2pm  
Other Information: Bring binoculars if you have them.

7th Annual Baty's March Clear UP 

Our annual marsh clear up come and join us it is one of the best events of the year! 

 

Meeting Place: Baty's Marsh - Bottom of Manor Lane
Time: 9.30am 
Other Information:

 

 

 Equipment will be provided by Medway Council. Please wear sensible clothes for going on to the marsh. refreshments will be provided for the helpers.
