 Future Events for 2010

This is our events page which will have all the details of Borstal Open Spaces future events some will be confirmed and some will be TBC, so please keep an eye on this page as it will display all the up to date information about all our activities. 

Our events are open to anyone who would like to get involved, all volunteers are very welcome to come and join us and any help is most gratefully received. 

We also welcome feedback about the events that we organise and also suggestion for future events

8th MAY 

 

 

6th Annual  - MARSH CLEAR UP at BATY's Marsh 

Please come and join us clear up the marsh of the debris and rubbish, which has been washed up onto the marsh over the winter. MEDWAY COUNCIL is supplying all equipment and there will be tea, coffee, squash and biscuits for the helpers. We expect the clear up to finish around 12.00noon

9.30am        
Other Information: Refreshments will be provided for all volunteers. Please wear suitable clothing and footwear for carrying out the activities. Gloves and equipment will be supplied by Medway Council

5th JUNE 

 

 Viewing platform Tidy and litter pick  

Cutting back the foliage and  tidy up of the viewing platforms ready for the summer season for everyone to enjoy.

10th JULY

 

 

 

Litter Pick and clear up of the rubbish within the trees surrounding the recreation ground

Litter picking the fields, footpath and within the foliaged areas around the recreation ground.
