Wildlife on the site (Flora & Fauna)

The Open Space in Borstal includes: Baty's Marsh, Borstal Recreation Ground and also a disused chalk pit which is not open to public access.

This area has a wide range of habitats which support a variety of different species of wildlife, trees and flowers that are very precious to the our environment.

The mammals which can be found at the site include: foxes, hedgehogs, slowworms, common lizards and various species of mice and bats
